In 2005 the print run of the IKEA catalogue surpassed that of the Bible, the first publication in history ever to do so, officially making capitalism the new religion on Planet Earth. The unprecedented global distribution of countless IKEA goods is likely to secure them a place in a future geological layer.

'60937 A KONTRA TAZ CAPPUCCINO' was made in Rome in collaboration with the conservation department of ETRU, the National Etruscan Museum. A new IKEA teacup and saucer were broken and afterwards repaired using special restoration paste. The work was made in the same week as the intervention work Preservation of IKEA teacup.
