Gravity is a key element of practi- cally every ‘theory of everything’ or ‘TOE’, a single all-encompassing theoretical framework of physics that fully explains all the physical aspects of the universe. Gravity has been around since the Big Bang and the development of the early universe. Yet despite the many different theories and explanations for its existence it is still largely a mysterious phenomenon.

'Gravitation' visualises that invisible force, or, as Albert Einstein’s theory of general relativity has it, the curvature of space-time. It is unclear whether the movement is still taking place, whether it has stopped due to material resistance, or whether it is a frozen moment in time.
