Six farming and forestry villages, at the heart of the department of Meuse, in Lorraine, have for 16 years chosen to share their heritage and their art of living by inviting some of today’s artists to a residential workshop. These residencies have produced more than a hundred works of art, created in direct contact with the ever-changing natural and human environment. The works of Le Vent des Forêts association stretch along 45 km of footpaths, divided into 7 signposted circular walks over 5000 hectares of forest to explore on foot, on horseback or by mountain bike. The circuits are open to the public from March to September.
